Operation E-Bike is a veteran-led nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering U.S. military veterans by providing sustainable e-bikes. Our mission is to enhance mobility, promote mental and physical well-being, and foster community support.
Who is eligible for an e-bike?
To qualify for an e-bike, you must:
Be a U.S. military veteran with honorable service (verified with a DD214 form).
Reside in Santa Cruz County, California.
Demonstrate a genuine need for an e-bike to improve your mobility or quality of life.
Application Process
How do I apply for an e-bike?
Simply click the "Apply for an E-Bike" button on our website to start the application process. Be prepared to provide proof of service, residency, and details about your need for an e-bike.
What documents do I need to submit with my application?
You’ll need:
A copy of your DD214 or other proof of honorable military service.
Proof of residency in Santa Cruz County.
A completed application form explaining your need for an e-bike.
How long does it take to process my application?
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. We aim to process applications within 2-3 weeks, depending on demand. You’ll be contacted with updates on your status.
Q: What happens if my application is approved?
If approved, we’ll contact you to coordinate the delivery or pickup of your e-bike. You may also receive information on how to join our community group or participate in upcoming events.
