Santa Cruz County is home to approximately 9,528 veterans (census.gov), and this number is steadily growing as more veterans choose to settle in this vibrant community. Many face challenges such as limited mobility, transportation barriers, and social isolation. By providing e-bikes, we empower veterans to overcome these obstacles, enhance their independence, and reconnect with their community.

California is at the forefront of promoting e-bike adoption through initiatives like the California E-Bike Incentive Project, which offers up to $2,000 in vouchers for eligible residents to purchase e-bikes (ARB California). By aligning with these efforts, Operation E-Bike contributes to a cleaner, greener future while addressing the unique needs of veterans.
